SUMMER MUSIC NIGHT TO BENEFIT YAMIN ORD @ Khiava Lounge
8pm-10pm

Yamin Ord is a very special orphanage located in Haifa, Israel.
It specializes at finding Jewish children left in orphanages in the republics of the Former Soviet Union.
Under the guidance of its remarkable staff leader, Lena Teyher, the orphanage has been very successful.
There are now twenty children between the ages of five and sixteen that live at Yamin Ord.
These children have little to call their own. Many have horrible and tragic stories that have left them mentally traumatized. One poor girl witnessed how her mother killed herself before her very eyes.
Most of the children are lucky enough not to have such histories, but they have nevertheless had to suffer deprivation and still do. With so many kids and the number steadily growing, Yamin Ord has found it difficult to provide even basic things such as clothing and hygiene items without funding from private donors.
